Mahsa & Alessandro – A Yellow Diamond Engagement Ring Created for a Surprise Proposal
This ring was created for a surprise proposal in the mountains in December and every detail was planned well in advance!
Alessandro reached out wanting to create something special for Mahsa. From the very beginning, he was thoughtful and precise, taking the time to consider every element of the ring before moving forward. The goal was clear: a piece that would feel bold, elegant, and full of light.
We chose a 1.6-carat yellow cushion-cut diamond as the center stone. Its warmth and character made it stand out instantly. To highlight the diamond, we designed a two-tone setting: a white gold band set with pavé diamonds, paired with yellow gold prongs that embrace the center stone and enhance its natural glow.
The result is a ring that feels refined yet expressive — vintage-inspired, but with a fresh, modern presence. We named the ring Tara, a word that means star in Persian, as a reference to its light and the cultural heritage behind this love story.
