At VONA, each ring is shaped through a dedicated design process, allowing every detail to reflect that meaning with intention and care.
Step 1
Inquiry & Consultation Call
Each engagement project begins with a submitted form followed by a dedicated 30-minute consultation call. During this conversation, we define the proposal timeline, budget expectations, and overall design direction.
Following the call, we determine whether to continue remotely or schedule an in-person appointment in Milan.
Step 2
Design Direction
Following the initial consultation call, we move into defining the overall direction of the ring.
At this stage, we explore stone shape, setting style, proportions, and metal preference in detail. References and inspiration are reviewed, and key decisions are established before we move into diamond sourcing and development.
Step 3
Diamond Curation and Design Development
Once the design direction is established, we begin sourcing lab-grown diamond options aligned with the project brief.
Each stone is selected based on proportion, quality, and overall harmony with the chosen setting. At this stage, we guide the selection process, introducing the key characteristics that influence brilliance and presence.
A detailed 3D visual of the ring is then created, allowing you to review the design and refine any final details before it moves into production.
Step 4
Creation
At the final stage, the ring enters production either in our Milan or Antwerp atelier, where it is crafted by expert goldsmiths and diamond setters.
The process typically takes up to six weeks. Once completed, each ring undergoes final inspection before being delivered, ready for the proposal.
