Nadia & Tommaso – A Ring Designed from Her Jewelry Box

Tommaso reached out because he wanted to create an engagement ring for Nadia, but he wasn’t sure which style she would love.

So I asked him to send me photos of the rings she already had.

A little detective work, but honestly, it is one of the best ways to understand someone’s taste!

From the photos, I noticed that Nadia seemed to wear more yellow gold than white gold, and that she liked pieces with structure.

So I suggested diamond cuts with edges, like emerald cut or radiant cut. For the setting, I suggested a bezel because the gold rim around the diamond would give the ring that structured feeling, while adding a beautiful yellow tone around the stone.

After a few design proposals, Tommaso chose a 3-carat radiant-cut lab-grown diamond with a bezel setting.

What I love about this story is that the design didn’t come from guessing. It came from the small details Nadia already loved.
